This series is based on my personal memories of places I have been to recently that has left good memories in my head. With years of skillful training as an artist, I am exposed to and have completed more abstract, imaginative works than works dealing with the real-life, physical aspects of daily life. In this series I return to a pursuit of the tangible world and have depicted important memories of my life, using color glazing to express the emotional feelings related to the scene. I believe art has many functions; not only can it be a social and political tool to raise people’s awareness of current issues in the world, but it also can be something as simple as a picture frame to capture and carry memories of someone’s fun or sad memories of life. I will be continuing this series to recall and celebrate my important life events.
